Panda security launched the final versions of Panda Security 2011, Panda Global Protection 2011, Panda Antivirus 2011 and Panda Internet security for netbook. The top end product Panda Global Protection comes with additional PC optimization, backup and encryption tools, along with Antivirus, Firewall, Anti-Spam modules that are also available in other versions. Panda is one of the pioneers of cloud based antivirus systems. All Panda 2011 products are equipped community based malware detection powered by cloud computing.
Panda's interface essentially looks like a status board. The main interface window is split into three columns -- Protection, Maintenance, and Updates; individual components for each section are listed below, with a light next to them indicating status. The tab-based navigation at the top has five sections. All of the sections have a similar column-based setup as the main page and bulleted option lists, which is easy to navigate if not innovative.
